B) Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect:
- Device and browser information (e.g., browser type, device type, OS).
- Usage data (pages viewed, clicks, time on page, referrer URL).
- Approximate location (generally derived from IP address).
- Log/security data (IP address, timestamps, error logs) for security, fraud prevention, and troubleshooting.
2) How we use your information
We use information to:
- Create and manage your account (login, account access).
- Sell and deliver digital products (provide downloads, receipts, and purchase access).
- Process payments (via Stripe) and prevent fraudulent transactions.
- Send transactional emails (purchase confirmations, receipts, important service emails).
- Send abandoned-checkout reminders (if you start checkout and provide an email address or it’s otherwise captured through your session/checkout process).
- Send marketing emails (newsletter and promotions) when you sign up, and measure engagement (opens/clicks) using tracked links.
- Run analytics (Google Analytics) to understand what content performs well and improve the Site.
- Run advertising and measurement (Google Ads + Meta Pixel) to measure conversions and improve ad relevance.
- Display and manage reviews (via Senja).
- Secure and maintain the Site (performance, caching, debugging, and protection from abuse).
3) How we share your information
We do not sell personal information for money. We may share information with third parties in the following situations:
A) Vendors that help us operate the Site (service providers)
We share data with service providers who perform services for us, such as:
- Hosting and infrastructure: Hostinger (website hosting and related infrastructure).

We may share information if we believe it’s necessary to:
- comply with laws, regulations, or legal processes,
- enforce policies, prevent fraud/abuse, or protect the rights and safety of users and the Site.
4) Cookies, pixels, and similar tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies for site functionality, performance, analytics, and advertising measurement.
What’s in use on DietGlow
- Google Analytics: helps us understand site usage (e.g., which pages are visited).
- Google Ads: helps measure ad performance and conversions.
- Meta Pixel: helps measure ad performance and conversions on Meta platforms.
- Klaviyo tracked links: links in emails may include tracking parameters so we can see if an email was opened/clicked and which pages were visited after clicking.
- WordPress + performance plugins (e.g., LiteSpeed Cache / AMP): may set cookies for performance, session behavior, or logged-in experiences.
Cookie consent
You can manage cookies in your browser settings (block, delete, or limit cookies). If you block cookies, some features (like login sessions and checkout-related behavior) may not work correctly.
Your choices
- Browser controls: most browsers let you block or delete cookies.
- Ad platform controls: you can adjust ad personalization settings within Google and Meta.
- Email preferences: you can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in our emails.
Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no consistent standard for interpreting it, we do not respond to Do Not Track signals.
5) Account and purchase data (Easy Digital Downloads)
If you create an account, we store information needed to:
- authenticate your login,
- maintain your purchase history,
- provide access to digital downloads you purchased.
6) Email marketing (Klaviyo)
If you opt in to marketing emails, we may send you updates and promotions. Klaviyo may track engagement, such as:
- email opens (where supported),
- link clicks via tracked links,
- related conversions (depending on your settings and cookies).
Unsubscribing
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the unsubscribe link included in the emails. Even if you unsubscribe from marketing, we may still send transactional emails (e.g., receipts, important product/account notices).
7) Advertising (Google Ads and Meta Pixel)
We use Google Ads and Meta Pixel to:
- understand which ads lead to purchases or other site actions,
- measure and improve marketing performance,
- (depending on configuration and your settings) build audiences for remarketing.
These tools may collect data through cookies/pixels, such as:
- the pages you visit,
- actions you take (like initiating checkout or purchasing),
- device/browser identifiers.
8) Reviews and testimonials (Senja)
We use Senja to collect and display reviews. If you submit a review through Senja, the information you provide may be publicly visible (depending on what you submit and how it’s displayed). If you want a review removed, email privacy@dietglow.com with enough detail to identify it.
9) Data retention
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for:
- delivering your digital purchases,
- maintaining account history and fraud prevention,
- legal, tax, and accounting obligations,
- resolving disputes and enforcing agreements.
If you request deletion, we will delete what we reasonably can, but may retain certain records where legally required or necessary for legitimate business purposes (e.g., transaction records).
10) Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. However, no website or internet transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11) Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights such as access, correction, deletion, and opting out of certain processing.
A) California and other US state privacy rights
If you are a resident of certain US states (including California), you may have the right to:
- request access to the personal information we hold about you,
- request deletion,
- request correction,
- opt out of “sale” or “sharing” under some state laws.
Important: We do not sell personal information for money. However, use of advertising pixels and ad measurement tools may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under certain state laws.

- the subject line: “Privacy Request”
